Qredo with WalletConnect

• INTRODUCTION

Qredo Network (Use Qredo with WalletConnet)

• Qredo is a cryptowallet that in terms of security is the best that the market currently offers, consisting of institutional-grade security to keep your digital assets and cryptocurrencies.

Now it also has one more security addition with the integration with WalletConnect so everyone can trade and use dApps on Ethereum, Optimism, Polygon, Arbitrum Mainnets. Let’s learn how to use it together!

Important points:

1.- To start, you need a Qredo account and have the Qredo application on its official page qredo.com

2.- Once connected to the Qredo Dashboard, it’s time to see how to use WalletConnect with Qredo. You can see it in the following screenshot

Note: However, if you already have a Portfolio, you can use it, as will be shown in the second part. If this is not the case, click on create a portfolio. Give your wallet a name (for example, test wallet).

By creating the new portfolio we can move on to the next stage, which is to have a wallet within this portfolio that you can connect to Wallet Connect and use with any dApp.

*-After clicking Create a new wallet, select create a web3 wallet -Once entered you can name your wallet (for example, in the “test wallet”).

• Select WalletConnect in the Type section.
• Choose a policy (we don’t set any particular policy here, this is the default policy)*
• Click Create Web3 Wallet on the bottom right.

• Congratulations! There is now a wallet that will be used to connect to any dApp (in this case, a commercial dApp called “Quickswap”) that is on one of the supported networks (Ethereum, Optimism, Polygon, or Arbitrum).

• After clicking View Wallet, we will be able to proceed to the next stage and connect your wallet to any dApp (for example “Quickswap”) using WalletConnect and benefit from Qredo’s institutional-grade security.

Stop! Before we connect it, let’s recap the first steps:

1.-- Connect to your Qredo Board 2.- Create a Portfolio 3.- In Portfolio, select New and Create a Web3 Wallet 4.- Select WalletConnect as the type of Wallet

*The time has come, let’s connect to WalletConnect!

When entering the portfolio (Holdings > Click on the Desired Portfolio > Select the wallet you have created in your Desired Portfolio).

You are now in your wallet, and you are going to be able to use WalletConnect! On the top right, close to Overview and History, you can see a Wallet Connection button.

Click on it and follow the instructions!

In this example I used Quickswap, but you can try some other dApp on one of the supported networks (Ethereum, Optimism, Polygon, Arbitrum Mainnets).

Click on Connect Wallet and select WalletConnect in the proposed list that appears.

1. Sign in to your Qredo Signing App.
2. Navigate to Connections on the menu.
3. Select WalletConnect.
4. Select the network (that needs to be compatible with the dApp) you want to use (here we chose Polygon)
5. Follow the steps in your signing app.
6. scan Qr Code in this case

And we’re done! You are now connected and can safely use the dApp with the best protection available to any Web3 user for their digital assets and to maintain their peace of mind.
