BLOG POST 1: BROADCAST READY?

Journalism is a highly competitive and ever-evolving field, and honing my broadcasting skills can be a daunting process. However, with a clear roadmap and dedication, I can develop the skills necessary to succeed in the industry.

With my experiences back in High School, I expected it would be easy to become a journalist or a broadcaster someday. But now, I know that I have a long way to go.

I used and once believed that the course of BA Communication was much easier compared to other degree programs or it wasn’t an in-demand course/job. It was underrated. If I had not researched it, I would not know how this course covers various jobs, skills, and development.

Now that I am experiencing it first-hand, it is not easy. One should always be prepared to learn, communicate, and convey the news. As well as to open up the public’s mind about the truth and casualties happening in real life, and most importantly, to stop the spread of Information Disorder in the present and future.

Below is a roadmap outlining the essential journalism skills and the challenges I may face along the way.
