Her autopsy report may not be ready “for some weeks,” a London clerk said. “It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Sinéad,” the family of the “Nothing Compares 2 U” singer said in a statement last week. “Her family and friends are devastated and have requested privacy at this very difficult time.”

The body of the Irish singer-songwriter has been released to her family following her death on July 26.
