“It’s still April.” Chennai Calendar lies!
Chennai’s peak summer should have ended over a month ago. Yet here we are, staring at empty beach stalls well past 5 p.m. The air is hot, dusty, and the sea breeze feels like a side character who forgot his lines. Everyone is throwing around words like El Niño, but my mind struggles to accept that July has brought no rain — only more heat.
