Our Small Change Can Change Someones life .

In Pakistan there are millions of people who have to deal with poverty and hunger. Abdul Sattar Edhi, the legend who made an NGO organization to help people who struggle with problems daily. At Amal Academy, our activity was to find people who have a wonderful humble heart to help those in need through the Edhi Foundation and the Akkuwat Foundation.

It was my first experience going to go out and ask for money for my use, but for those people who don’t know me or see me, a helpful mindset only to help them and let them live the way they want to.

So we, as a group of 2 people, went out asking the people and the managers to donate us to the people’s welfare. We were rejected, and it literally broke our hearts. We didn’t give up staying stone. I asked my friends and people I know to help and strongly support me and some individuals too.

Our strategy was basic needs, like meals, clothes, everything. How your smallest action can feed someone.

As Edhi once said :

“My religion is humanitarianism, which is the basis of every religion in the world.”

These words help me realize how difficult this work. It made me work with joy and I was happy that my time and efforts had not been wasted and had been used to help people who once dreamed of eating or wearing what they like.

I’m just going to end this with another EIDH massage,

“People have become educated, but have yet to become human.”
