C-Chain.
1. FTSO Delegation (Most Flexible)

C-Chain vs P-Chain. on Flare,.
C-Chain.
- FTSO Delegation (Most Flexible)
This option allows you to delegate the voting power of your tokens to Flare Time Series Oracle (FTSO) data providers. Your tokens never leave your wallet, and there is no lock-up period. [1, 2]
- Requirements: Any amount of FLR.
- Step 1: Wrap your native FLR into WFLR (Wrapped FLR) using a supported wallet like Bifrost Wallet or the official Flare Portal. Always leave 5–10 FLR unwrapped for gas fees.
- Step 2: Choose up to two FTSO data providers to delegate your WFLR to. You can check performance metrics on community tracking sites.
- Step 3: Collect rewards manually every 3.5 days, or enable Autoclaiming within your wallet to automatically compound them.,
P-Chain
- P-Chain Validator Staking (Highest Native Yield)
If you want to support network security directly by backing validators, you can cross-stake your FLR. Although staking physically occurs on Flare’s P-Chain, you initiate and manage the transaction directly from your C-Chain wallet.
- Requirements: Minimum of 50,000 FLR and a minimum lock-up period of 14 days.
- Step 1: Navigate to the staking tab on the Flare Portal or inside a compatible wallet.
- Step 2: Select an eligible validator node. Avoid providers marked as “Overstaked” (holding >5% of total network stake) as they yield lower rewards.
- Step 3: Input your amount and specify the lockup duration. Your funds will be locked on the P-Chain and automatically return to your C-Chain wallet once the lock duration expires.
- Step 4: Manually claim your staking rewards roughly every 14 days.
Total yield annualy on c-chain and on flare network
The total annual yield on the Flare Network C-Chain varies depending on the strategy you use, ranging from 5% to over 15% APY. [1]
Following governance changes (FIP.16) that permanently reduced annual network inflation to 3%, and the official conclusion of the passive FlareDrop program, yield rates are structured by protocol mechanics and network activity.
Yield Strategy.
C-Chain yield annually.
- FTSO Delegation~5% to 7% — — -FLR (Wrapped as WFLR) -None (Tokens stay in wallet)
- Validator Staking -~7% to 9% — FLR — 14-day minimum lock-up (Min. 50,000 FLR)
I hope this information helps you, and that you can use some of these tips, that can help you in the world of cryptocurrencies. My project is to release a video on how to delegate and wrap the FLR coin on C-Chain and also how to lock up on P-Chain in FlareNetwork.
