Hope this is fixed in Amazon 2023. If I list resources using an AWS CLI command and it’s a long list — like I’m looking at KMS key aliases right now — and I hit crtl-C to exit out of the list, I lose the echo of what I type back to the screen. I tried echo on. Perhaps there’s some easy fix for this but I don’t know it.
What I do is type exit, which is invisible to me, but it exits my SSH session. Then I connect again and all is well.
But it seems like this experience when looking at a list from the AWS CLI could be better. Ctrl-C should just dump you back out to the command line.
