Batik Ngawi gives a different vibe while showing at Malang City Expo. The production of batik Ngawi has a traditional process which they still using Canting as their media of the production of Batik Ngawi. In this expo, they also arrange the stand so it can be the iconic of Ngawi in this expo.

The processes are not easy to make a beautiful motive. They have to draw a batik pattern which they usually use Canting and Malam for the media of Batik production. Also, they use the stove to heat up Malam.

Ajeng, the maker of batik Ngawi says “We have to make the pattern first and then colour the fabric with textile dye.”

The income that they get also high. It because of their market the product until nationwide. Malang City Expo help them to reach their popularity.

“Our team reach 30 million per month while sell the product” adds Ajeng.

Malang City Expo which it is place that Malang’s government give to all the business man in East Java to improve their business. It’s not also the place for Malang business man but also for all the business man in East Java come to introduce and sell their product.

Malang City Expo also serves a lot of arts and performances which it entertained many people in there. This event sells many souvenirs, which it represents each region that come to Malang City Expo. (rib)
