Try Reading Lying Down
I promise it makes it better

I asked a question on Twitter (X) about what position people prefer to read in.
It was immediately clear to me that there seems to be a wide variety of positions.
Some sit bolt upright in a chair.
Others cross their legs on the floor.
Many lean against something while they devour a book.
But for me, reading is mostly done while laying down. With the book held above me, I prefer to lay on the sofa, facing up.
Is that weird?
How do you read?
Lots of people like to read in bed with pillows behind their shoulders.
This is something I also enjoy. But for some reason, reading in bed is short lived and I quickly drift off to sleep if I am not careful.
However, on the sofa, I am able to stay awake. Fortunately, my body allows me to stay alert while reading a book there, in the lounge.
Perhaps it would be interesting to explore other positions.
Maybe I am not the only one who likes to read on his back.
I definitely think that reading habits are a fascinating topic for discussion.
So the question is, ‘What position do you prefer to read in?’
Can you convince me to change how I read?
