Can Drinking Water Help You Achieve Your Goal? I Decided to Find Out.

I tested a popular manifestation technique for myself. Whether you believe in the Law of Attraction or not, this simple daily ritual changed the way I think and act.

Every morning, my wife and I share a simple ritual. Over breakfast, we watch a short video together.

The videos are about mental health, meditation, motivation, manifestation, or the Law of Attraction.

My wife follows several manifestation mentors. I don’t accept every claim at face value, but I fully support her interest.

She is living with a terminal illness. She has chosen to live fully rather than merely survive.

She continues to work at her hospital job. She travels whenever she can. She visits friends on their birthdays, attends funerals to support grieving families, and spends time with her elderly parents.

Meditation has become an essential part of her daily life. Gradually, it has become part of my discussion also.

Because of our viewing habits, my phone now recommends plenty of videos on mindfulness, motivation, and manifestation.

One recent video caught my attention.

The mentor suggested an incredibly simple practice.

Every time you drink a glass of water, silently say:

“Thank you, Universe, for helping me achieve my goal.”

According to the mentor, if you repeat this consistently, the universe will conspire to help make your goal a reality.

Does the Universe Really Conspire?

Honestly… I don’t know.

I can’t scientifically prove that the universe rearranges itself because we whisper a sentence while drinking water.

But I do know something else happens.

Every time I drink water, I remember my goal.

I try to drink around eight glasses of water every day.

That means I remember my goal about eight times a day.

It helps me to stay hydrated.

It helps me to stay focus of my goal.

It brings back into my awareness again and again.

That changes something.

Attention Shapes Action

Our minds are fascinating.

Most goals don’t disappear because we stop wanting them.

They disappear because we stop thinking about them.

Gradually, a goal becomes nothing more than a forgotten wish.

I remember a conversation from my school days.

Our teacher asked each student about their dream for the future.

One of my classmates confidently replied,

“I want to become a pilot.”

Many years later, I hired a taxi during a business trip.

The driver looked familiar. It was the same classmate.

As we talked, I remembered his childhood dream.

He had become a taxi driver instead of a pilot.

I never asked what happened.

Life has a way of changing our plans.

Many of us begin with big dreams.

Then responsibilities, circumstances, and unexpected events take us in different directions.

But when we repeatedly focus on an important goal, something interesting happens.

We begin noticing opportunities. We make better decisions. We become more disciplined. We take more consistent action.

Perhaps that is the real magic. The practice isn’t changing the water.

It may be changing the person who drinks it.

My Own Experiment

I decided to test the idea for myself.

I chose one goal that went back seat for months.

Now, every time I drink a glass of water, I pause for a few seconds and quietly say,

“Thank you, Universe, for helping me achieve my goal.”

That’s all.

Just one simple reminder repeated throughout the day.

Something interesting has already happened. Because I keep remembering my goal, I also keep working on it.

I spend more time improving it.

I take one smaller step.

Whether that’s manifestation or simply focused attention doesn’t matter much to me. The outcome is matter.

Faith Plus Action

There is one thing I do believe.

Visualization without action is wishful thinking. Action without direction often becomes random effort.

But visualization combined with consistent action in the right direction can be remarkably powerful.

Successful athletes visualize victory before competitions. Entrepreneurs imagine the businesses they want to build.

Authors picture holding their finished books long before they write the final chapter.

Visualization prepares the mind. Action creates the result. The two work best together.

I’ll Wait for the Outcome

I’m still in the middle of my experiment.

I’m not ready to declare success. When I achieve this particular goal, I’ll come back and write about what happened.

Until then, I’ll keep practicing.

Every glass of water reminds me where I want to go.

Maybe the universe is helping. Maybe it’s my subconscious mind.

Maybe it’s both. Either way, I’m moving closer to my goal than I was yesterday.

After all, you can try it yourself. There’s nothing to lose.

If manifestation doesn’t work the way the mentors promise, your body will thank you for staying hydrated…!

And if this simple ritual reminds you of your goal several times a day, keeps your attention focused, and encourages you to take one more meaningful action, then it has already produced a valuable result.

Sometimes success isn’t about finding a magical shortcut.

It’s about creating small daily habits that keep us moving in the right direction.

And sometimes, one small reminder repeated every day is enough to change the direction of a life.

You can try it yourself. There’s nothing to lose. If your manifestation doesn’t work, at least your body will thank you for staying hydrated.

If the ritual helps you remember your goals and take consistent action, that’s already a meaningful benefit.

You will become what you think regularly...!
