Observations from my 7am walk today

This blog is all about showing off that I got up at 6:30am and went for jogging+walking at 7am. I found an awesome place ideal for morning walk near my house yesterday and unfortunately I got up at 6:30am today and I could not sleep; hence decided to buckle my shoes and jump outdoor.

Pigeons beside the road

First thing I observed was ~25–50 pigeons beside the road chirping and munching on something from the road. For me it looked more like a morning huddle they have before they go for their food search😅

Second important thing is the land acquisition that the lantana plant has done in Bangalore. This shrub is very popular in Bangalore and I am sure everyone has noticed it at least once. But trust me it is a devil, it invades the area too fast and it takes Lakhs to Crores for the government to get rid of this plant. As a person more concerned of environment, please do the following:

1. If you see small lantana growing near your house please uproot them
2. Avoid buying this plant for your garden; there are many more options for indoor and outdoor plants (i will write a separate blog on my plant collection). Please refrain from buying lantana for your garden🌱

Wondering on the damage caused by lantana to India, I also spoted my all time favourite — Eucalyptus tree. I love this for its scent and medicinal purpose. I climbed on a small wall beside it and managed to pluck some leaves. I then came back home and enjoyed a warm shower with infused scent from eucalyptus leaves.
