Anything just slightly connected with design furniture, Sabine Voggenreiter has at least one finger in the pie. Since she invited Cologne-based designer, furniture stores, design galleries and universities to touch base with international manufacturers and designers for the first time in 1989, she is in the big time. Her credo to stimulate the idea of urban development from the bottom up, is clearly perceptible when the whole city turns into a bis stage while the PASSAGEN — biggest design event in Germany — is taking place all over Cologne.
