Sure, hosting it entirely in the US would be super cool and would probably make travel a little bit easier for some of the teams, but there is something really special about the teamwork involved in a joint bid. It’ll be interesting to see what FIFA decides to do for future tournaments, but for now, I’m just glad we get to be part of the action this year.
