Strengthening Security and Supervision Functions, Bengkulu Prison Joins Director General of Corrections’ Virtual Briefing

Bengkulu — Class IIA Bengkulu Prison participated in a virtual briefing delivered by the Director General of Corrections regarding the implementation of security and supervision functions within correctional institutions, Thursday (21/05). The activity was conducted via Zoom Meeting and attended by all ASN officers from the hall of Class IIA Bengkulu Prison.
The activity was attended directly by the Head of Class IIA Bengkulu Prison, Julianto Budhi Prasetyono, accompanied by structural officials and all Bengkulu Prison officers. The briefing was led by the Director General of Corrections, Mashudi, and joined by Correctional Technical Implementation Units across Indonesia.
In his remarks, the Director General emphasized the importance of strengthening security and supervision functions as an effort to maintain stability, security, and order within correctional institutions. All officers were instructed to improve vigilance, strengthen early detection efforts, and carry out duties in accordance with applicable standard operating procedures.
In addition, the Director General reminded all correctional officers to use various issues occurring within correctional institutions as collective evaluation material to prevent violations and security disturbances.
Head of Bengkulu Prison, Julianto Budhi Prasetyono, stated that the briefing served as reinforcement for all officers in improving discipline, integrity, and professionalism in carrying out daily duties.
“Through this briefing, we are reminded to continue maintaining our commitment to performing our duties optimally, increasing vigilance, and strengthening supervision to create a safe and orderly correctional environment,” said Julianto.
By participating in the activity, all ASN officers of Class IIA Bengkulu Prison are expected to become more responsive, professional, and integrity-driven in supporting humane correctional duties while prioritizing security and order.
