Day 29

Finally took this guy out of the box

I used it to take just a fraction of a millimeter off some boards to make them the same length. I bought this with some use cases in mind, but now that I have a cnc I likely won’t use this often. As least I’ve got it for when I do need it. I went to start putting in screws and realized the tool I bought yesterday STILL was not going to work for me. That’s when I started looking around at the other pieces I cut and started to think about exactly how I wanted to attach everything. That’s when it hit me. Dowels! I can use dowels and wood glue not only to attach things, but also to make things square and flush. So that meant going to the store AGAIN to get a few more things. I went and saw a movie with my brother (Maze Runner 3 has a terrible ending) and the day was over. At least tomorrow I’ll have everything I need to… oh wait. I have school so I need to do some studying dang it. Well I’m not moving very quickly, but the cnc will be up and running someday (hopefully sooner than later).
