An Introduction to me:

I think a lot about grief, bad deeds, and redemption.

Before you pause and think this ain’t your cause, we have all done a bad, bad thing, we are all the villain in someone’s story, we have all found redemption in an accepted “sorry”.

I ask you: What bad deed did you do? Who did you screw?

These acts we commit, these moments of sin, these things in our past; Do they define us? Do they describe us? Do they discount all of our wins?

As I was sat and a·ponder, my brain all a·wander, my aunt thought to say, “Do you think you’re qualified to counsel others on grief?” The BEEF! Of course I am, the quantity of loss in my life, the strife, the love that I hold, the wisdom it has told. I am qualified and beyond. I have seen the dark sides. I’ve been down that rabbit hole. I’ve fallen like Alice and soared like a phoenix. My path has been curvy and my love has been ginormous.

I dream in 3D, I run through the storm. I get wet and I crave it. The thunder, the lightning, it used to make me ill, it used to make me claustrophobic. Once I knew why, I knew I had to fly. Fly up to the sun, run into the sea, dance in the raindrops and scream “Just be free”. There are times I feel trapped, times I lose sight, like a horse in a race, blinded to the left and to the right. I stumble and fumble. A human like bumble. Crumble? Not I.

To help others, you see, you have to be where they be. To help others choose happy, to help show them the love that lives underneath all that grief. You have to have been there and there I have been.
