CHECKING IN- CHECKING OUT
So we are coming to the end of march, so much I could share about one month and I couldn’t remember if I wrote a blog for February but I’m still going to flow with it.
Checking in
Checking on YOU; how have you been feeling? What went well this month? What are you proud of? What do you need to work on next month?
I always feel if I haven’t achieved something this month, it’s best not to feel down about it, sometimes life is what it is, sometimes time can get away…sometimes we feel there’s never enough time. It’s just looking for those short moments and using it wisely for next time.
Look throughout your day, where is there time where you could add your goal or hobby there, even five minutes, ten minutes you managed to start it, and that is some small but will have a huge impact in the future.
Checking on your Peace, by this I mean your environment. Is it peaceful amongst work, social life, and relationships? If there’s anything you had to change, draw back from. Emotionally, we can feel overwhelmed, a little pressure, and when we bottle it all in, we burst, take it out on the wrong person, or most definitely take it harshly on ourselves. Tap into your quiet place, find things that help you manage how you’re feeling, and find where you can find peace again.
If this means taking time for yourself, well, you are entitled to do that. If that means you feel you need to go back to your support village, where you feel safe, who makes you feel safe, and share, sometimes you will get the wisdom or the support you need. Sometimes you just need someone to listen, and sometimes the person you need to listen to and reflect on is…YOU
Nothing to be ashamed of, that’s what makes us learn and grow, working on ourselves, praying, meditating, sleeping more, reading more, more self-care, whatever it is that will help you mentally grow.
What Went Well
Finding the positive and reflecting this at the end of the month or daily is a great way to find all the good things that are working out in your favour. You’ll find gratitude, you’ll find peace and you find the good moments where you get to embrace it and be happy and grateful it worked out for you regardless of what went wrong.
So much is going on in the world; why not just pinpoint all the things that went well, much better than overthinking on what went wrong?
Checking Out
Ignore all the stuff that may have went wrong, or unexpected, especially when it may have irritated you, annoyed you, Don’t let it affect your whole day or your whole mood. If it’s people just remember people are people, we are not robots, we are all still learning, even in adulthood we are still learning so much about the world and ourselves. It’s a nonstop journey, and we all have different perspectives about how we think and how we feel.
So anything negative that has not affected you in a good way, check your energy out of it, remember everything is a lesson, even moments like this.
Keep focused on you and remember what april is for: new beginnings, better steayd, keep pushing through and keep proving yourself to YOU, don’t let anyone disturb your peace don’t be afraid to keep striving for what you want, make this year about what you deserve and practice that patience while you’re applying.
