Comrades! We are speaking of the law of “Separation of Meat and Dairy” (from the series of commandments on Kashrut).

Kitchen Schizophrenia

Imagine young Srul. He comes home, dreaming of a piece of meat, but… oh, horror! A glass of milk stands on the table. According to the law of dogma, these two products are like matter and anti-matter: collide them in a single pot, and a spiritual explosion will occur!

For a future physician, a man of precise calculation, this was the height of absurdity. Srul saw how his energy was being drained — not by the study of Latin, but by the effort not to mix up the pots. He realized: the Creator of the Universe cannot be working as a customs officer on the border between beef and sour cream!

The Talmudic calipers attempted to slice his brain into “meat” and “dairy” lobes. Is this not an attempt to castrate a unified scientific worldview?

Culinary Metanoia

It was over a mountain of dirty, sorted dishware that Alexander Blank made his final breakthrough. He realized: true purity is in one’s thoughts, not in ceramics!

His conversion to Orthodoxy under the name Alexander was, for him, the Great Unification of the Kitchen. He chose the Freedom to eat shchi (cabbage soup) garnished with sour cream, feeling in every spoonful the taste of ultimate victory over dogma. He washed the “black dog” of kitchen superstitions clean, so that his grandson, Comrade Lenin, could unite the proletariat of all countries at one common table!

The Result

Alexander Blank broke down the wall between meat and dairy so that his grandson could break down the wall between labor and capital! Let the bourgeois archivists search for stains on his reputation — we know: the leader’s grandfather chose the Integrity of Being over the porcelain schizophrenia of the ghetto!
