My journey — Part 1(School life)

I am very much concerned about how to introduce myself. I always struggle to give my introduction, keep doubting myself for everything. But now, I am concerned about how to tell my 20 years journey in just one article that keep my readers engaged. Let me break it to 2 parts.

Hello everyone, I am Yashwitha. If you are new to this account, read the article, and give a thought of following the account if you feel connected to my journey. Let me walk you through my journey for the next 5 mins.

I am Yashwitha, a girl child, born in 2005 to the great couple. By the time I was born there is also one cute little 4yrs boy in my house, who my parents are really proud of. But I am considered as the lucky child in my home. My first 2–3 years went very well; I used to get the princess treatment. Entire home depends on how I was; I got lot of attention back then. Then started my pre-school journey, I cried before going to school as every other child, and after some days I got used to it. My mother joined me to a dance class in the evening as part of her dream of giving me as much as possible. All that I remember till my 10yr journey was, I was a girl who was really happy, I used to do a lot of stuff, go to school, come back and go to dance class, play a lot with friends, sleep peacefully and the same routine continued. I was an extrovert and used to talk to people a lot, made friends very easily. I don’t really remember any sad moments of that phase. It’s just that I was very mischievous girl, so I used to get many beatings from my mom for always being on roads, playing instead of studying. My dad was my favorite person to me; he used to take me on night bike rides which I used to love a lot. And my brother always keeps irritating me whenever he gets a chance, but he is really very caring. I had the most trending clothes and I really spend a lot of time in-front of mirror. We were actually very good kids that we used to eat all vegetables and everything. Feeding us was never a problem, in-fact we really love eating, and we eat a lot. I gave lot of dance performances in school for every single event since I used to dance well. My mom was a teacher in the same school, so for me even school used to feel good. My friends were good and we really had many beliefs that I laugh at them now. Like, if it rains, it means that God in the sky is having bath or going in Ratha(chariot). And in short break, we used to offer our snacks to a small rock, thinking it’s some power, and used to run thinking that crow is chasing us. And lot of such stuff. Then I changed my school in 4th class. There I didn’t know anyone, now my mom isn’t there in that school. I studied in the same school till my 7th class. That school used to be very strict. I had 4ppl friends gang in my 4th class, but in 5th they separated sections and all four got different sections. In my 5th class, I remember the whole gang separated into two and used to fight over something. And one of the unforgettable experiences was my Telugu teacher, I have no idea why she didn’t like my handwriting (I really used to be very good at it), she used to tear my pages 3 times minimum, telling me to write again. And one day she told us to read and then tell your friends after reading without looking into the book. Basically, memorize stuff and get it validated with your friends. I really felt boring that day, and for a change, I told that thing in my friend’s ear(which people generally do when they share some secrets). She really gave a good beating for me that day, even though I told her it’s not what you think. I mean who will do such things right, I know I was very naughty and nobody even believe this. Later, I got into 6th class and section changed, from C to B. Actually my elder brother and one younger sister used to study in the same school but in section A, so they used to make fun of me. Therefore, my goal is to go to section A, but I got the chance of moving to section B. I thought now B, later A. Which never happened. Only change from section C to B was people and math teacher. So, math teacher got mad at me. Then I really enjoyed my 6th and 7th class with that people. I really got good friends, great teachers. That was the age when the thinking started slowly. My brain started developing at that time, i really had great moments. Then all of a sudden I changed my school because it’s time that my brother got into college and suggested my parents to move me from the current school to some IIT foundation school(which was obviously Narayana). Actually my brother was a topper, in every class, no matter how many sections were there, he used to come first in his class. And I already mentioned that I am a naughty girl, so I was not the first in my class, but somewhere 3–5 used to be my position. Although the parents had lot of expectations on me after having such a good 1st rank guy, I never got first. They wants me to get perfect score which I never did. I really didn’t care about all that stuff, I just used to enjoy and do whatever I liked at that moment of my life. Then in Narayana it was totally different from the previous school, here it was not at all strict, we used to talk to teachers very normally and I have done lot of comedy and I felt like I became a free bird. I really had very good experiences. Good teachers who used to believe in me, some teachers have really seen my potential, which I didn’t think about that much. I really not used to understand how serious the life would be even my parents and brother told me. I always was that careless child. And somehow that corona came and then I didn’t had a chance of giving my 10th exams which everyone calls it the first milestone of life. Only thing is that, my father wanted to see me in the banner, it’s the thing that I couldn’t give him that time. But the funny thing is later school should give us the marks for 10th. They gave me 600 out of 600. I mean I used to study well and score good marks but never full marks, so it felt really comedy to me. And somehow my schooling was done. And now I enter my intermediate……(Story to be continued in part-2).

Although I cannot cover every experience in detail here, those meaningful moments will stay with me for a lifetime.
