NBA, Soccer Props for Sunday, May 17th

Sunday night comes with 2 beautiful words we all adore: Game Seven. The Detroit Pistons will host the Cleveland Cavaliers for the chance to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals. One team is going to face the New York Knicks, the other one is packing their talents home.

What you have to understand beforehand is essentially everything can happen in a single elimination game. We either might witness 89–90 game or we might see one team shooting their souls out and go into the 4th quarter with 100 points. But we still got something real interesting going into this match. Despite the crowd heavily putting their hard-earned money on James Harden’s “unders”, we will go with a different approach.

Ausar Thompson over 6.5 rebounds for -125.

There is nothing to be said. You should have been putting your money on this line every single Pistons game. In fact, if you would be taking Ausar’s over 6.5 boards throughout this whole playoffs, you would be 11–2 now. He is feeding the families with his efforts. Let him feed your family man.

Cade Cunningham over 6.5 three-point attempts for -115.

Cade has go 4–6 on this line in the last 10 games, that’s true. But the last two games has been a whole different story. Cade understands that the entire Pistons offense is relying on him to take the most contested shots. Whether he makes them or not we do not care. Cunningham had 10 3PTA in both Game 5 and Game 6. He will have to follow this tendency, especially if this game will be close in the 4th quarter.

Donovan Mitchell under 3.5 assists for -145.

There goes another familiar prop for us. Donovan had 4 or more assists only once in his last 10 games. Las Vegas would gladly put his line at 2.5, but he magically tends to finish the games with exact 3 dimes (he had 5 such games in last 10). Yet with the crowd mostly going for “overs”, Vegas is catching you on constantly drawing his line at 3.5.

Ausar Thompson over 3.5 stocks at +120.

Game 7 is always about effort and hustle. And let me tell you those are two best words to describe the player Ausar has been. He had 8 steals and 4 blocks in the last 2 games combined. He also had 4 stocks in Game 7 against Orlando earlier this year.

Lens over 11.5 shots for -143;

Lens has been one of the most fascinating teams to watch this season. They are just trying. Whether they are playing PSG or Metz — they are trying. They had over 20 shots in both of the games I mentioned. Furthermore, they had at least 12 shots in 17 of their last 20 games. The 11.5 line is just obscure. Vegas is trying to sell us a story that Lyon is great at not allowing opposing teams to shoot (they are actually 6th best in the league). But this has been a story this whole season, and in their last H2H in Ligue 1 Lens attempted 18 shots.
