Why Small Business In Trinidad and Tobago Should Not Generate More USD- The Doom of Valyria

“Earn Your Own USD”?

It’s widely known that Valyria was the greatest city the world has ever known. It represented the height of architecture, civilization, technology and magic — an empire that lasted for millennia and spanned most of Essos.

The Valyrians were undisputedly the superpower. But one day, with fire and ash, it all came to an end.

Whether or not you agree that the canon of this tale is being lived out today in America — the prideful Dragonlords vaunting themselves despite the warning of a vision — you can’t ignore this point…

Pharaoh’s heart was hardened while plagues descended upon Egypt. So Trump’s claim that the US is doing “so much business because of a weaker dollar” feels right characteristically speaking, in addition to what it’s also forecasting.

Certain books in the Bible foretell the fall of a great nation starting with its economy. Empires don’t only fall by the sword; king Cyrus taught us that. These books even reveal what caused it, and the powers behind this day of wrath.

But if the rise of BRICS isn’t an indication of the river beds diversion, if the echoes of financial analysts fail to convince you that one day there will be a howling in the fish gates, just maybe a US bank account filled with US dollars you can’t use will.

This isn’t the 50’s or 60’s; the end of globalization isn’t a conspiracy; the new world order and its one world currency is well documented. Hence why this push in Trinidad and Tobago to “Earn your own USD” is so cringe.

Those of you old enough to know this saw what’s happening today play out before. In 1944, the Bretton Woods system nominated the United States dollar the reserve currency of the world. For the past 80 years, no one has been doing business in yuan. Today, its share of global finance has “tripled over the past five years”, Trump’s playing oil police, but Trini’s must earn more USD?

It may be many days before the world uses 1 currency, but one thing is certain: a shift is taking place; you feel it in your bones. What do you think will be the outcome of your USD stash once a new reserve currency is decided? More importantly, as a small business owner, how much longer until USD outlives its usefulness?

If what’s left of your savings loses purchasing power, that alone is enough to conclude that it’s not “safe” for Trinbagonians to generate USD.

A fact echoed by someone who literally told me the country will need to start dumping USD to avoid crashing our economy.

[embed]Like this, you mean?

Do I have an alternative suggestion?

No.

Since I was a child, I knew about the one world currency; I knew the world would return to gold. But that isn’t me telling you you should buy precious metals either. I’m watching this play out like everyone else, not using AI to think or write their marketing.

However, given the blackout, I believe some awareness is needed. Do you feel like the workarounds for Trinbagonians to earn USD ignore the warning signs of what’s happening with the US dollar?
