Sometimes, I squirrel away other people’s writing prompts and then come back to them years later because I finally get there in my non-time pressured to do queue, and I LOVE THAT FEELING OF NOT BEING RUSHED

Is the place where I’m at in my life where I’m truly meant to be? I wonder, I wonder, for the reason that I can get married and fused with an idea even as the context moves on.

I think there’s something truth to it; I am in a place in my life where I am much better than I was before, hacking away at branches and thorns that would catch me off guard, leaving scratches and scars, uncalled for. A treacherous non-road path that I had to fight through.

But I do not know that I am staying here, where I am, where this is, not because it’s not nice, but because leaving that treacherous path afforded me the shoes, the wings, the garments to go further than what is here. I will stay, for a while, and I may return, for a while, but I am excited, so excited, for the roads to come, and perhaps, a little flying, too.
