Ebikes Africa Receives Siemens Stiftung Sustainable & Inclusive E-Mobility Catalyser Award

Nairobi, Kenya — Ebikes Africa has been named the recipient of the Sustainable & Inclusive E-Mobility Catalyser Award, an initiative by Siemens Stiftung implemented in partnership with Relevant is Impact, the Association for Electric Mobility and Development in Africa (AEMDA), and GIZ Kenya through the Piloting and Preparing to Scale Electric Mobility in Kenya programme highlighting the growing role of Kenyan innovators in building the infrastructure powering Africa’s transition to electric mobility.

Governments are introducing supportive policies. Manufacturers are bringing new electric motorcycles, bicycles and buses to market. Investors are backing clean transport technologies. Consumers are becoming increasingly aware of the environmental and economic benefits of electrification.
