Teranode Update
March 25, 2026
Anyone paying attention already knows Teranode is not something being presented like a polished commercial product. What matters is the engineering trail, and that trail remains clear.
The public repo continues to move, with v0.14.0 released on March 17, 2026, and recent activity visible afterward. The latest release reflects work on pruning, monitoring, reorg handling, memory reduction, legacy sync compatibility, security fixes, and gRPC controls.
BSV’s official documentation still presents Teranode as the next-generation node architecture for BSV Blockchain, built as a distributed microservices system designed for millions of transactions per second. It is also being opened for broader validation through TeraTestnet.
The most prominent public benchmark remains the official 6-node, 1M+ TPS over two weeks milestone. No newer official public result appears to have superseded that as of today.
Meanwhile, the network’s current public roadmap still shows a transition in progress. Chronicle on SV Node is documented with April 7, 2026 mainnet activation timing, while Teranode work continues toward full production-readiness.
