Definitely stages to it. After ten plus years of sub therapy I have started to realize I’m still numb.. yes it gave me my power back and helped me to see things clearly. To set emotional instability aside and see my insanity and to see myself through a lense almost from the outside looking in.. I’m ready to get in the pool again and live life without the emotional saftey net or an emotional fog if you will. Even at does less than 1 MG daily I’m still feeling it. The emotional numbness I mean.

I definitely feel my sex drive kicking in more under 1 MG daily.. i never stopped having sex and my parts always worked but I definitely had an emotional detachment during sex. Like it was 100% physical pleasure.. no soul about it. That’s slowly changing the lower I go.. I’m in a strange place now.. where I either feel like I haven’t taken enough or took too much. Constantly fighting discomfort or the guilt of taking it and then feeling that numbness creep back in again. It’s a relief at times and I hate that.. makes me feel weak and like I’ve still got so far to go..

At 1/2 MG I’m definitely feeling more emotions but also feeling malaise.. my brain says I feel good sometimes but my body just wants to lay down and feel uncomfortable. It’s so strange going from 21 MG daily to 1/2 MG daily and still feeling so far away from the end goal. Progress is being made though and that’s the thing that keeps me going. Just gotta stay the course and not go backwards. I want my wife and kids to experience 100% of my love. I don’t want to give them a dumbed down version of myself. It’s so hard because whether I’m on it or withdrawing that’s what they are getting (a less than optimal version of me) and it makes me feel like a constant failure as of late. All this while running a business and my head constantly spinning from the grind of running said business while fighting this battle certainly complicates things.

Especially when in sales your attitude is everything and being positive is everything. I used to work out a lot back in the day and I think it will be an integral part of my success in the end. I plan on returning to the gym this week and I hope it helps to balance my brain out and help with the restlessness at night. I pray for you all and it’s been so refreshing to see others asking these questions and sharing their stories about emotional numbness on subx.. stay the course guys. The level of self awareness to be in this thread shows serious progress and a level of self awareness only found in the lions among us. Keep showing up! Keep fighting! And just know we deserve to see this through..
