**Pulitzer Center AI Accountability Network Fellowship 2026–2027 **Global · Investigative Journalists · 10-Month Fellowship · Up to $25,000

AI is dominated by the powerful big tech, governments, and venture capitalists. But who keeps them accountable? That is the question at the heart of the Pulitzer Center’s AI Accountability Network. This 10-month fellowship provides selected journalists with up to $25,000 to pursue investigative reporting projects on AI, access to cross-disciplinary mentors, and a peer cohort that sharpens their work throughout. Kari Howard Fund for Narrative Journalism 2026

Global · Women & Nonbinary Journalists · Grant

This grant honours the legacy of longtime LA Times editor Kari Howard, a champion of in-depth storytelling that cut through the 24-hour news cycle to surface human stories about political, social, and environmental crises. It supports women and nonbinary journalists from anywhere in the world to develop a critical piece of long-form narrative journalism. Domestic and international stories are welcome.

Africa No Filter Kekere Storytellers Fund

Africa & Diaspora · Emerging Storytellers · Micro-grants up to $3,000

The Kekere Storytellers Fund is for the creators already doing the work — journalists, podcasters, photographers, writers, vloggers and artists telling African stories beyond the tired stereotypes of poverty, conflict and disease. If you need a boost to go further, this is your moment. Open to Africans on the continent or in the diaspora, under 35, with at least two years of experience and a minimum of 5,000 followers across social platforms.

**Flare 26 Initiative Free Cybersecurity for Nonprofits **Global · Nonprofits & Media Organisations · In-Kind Grant

Your data, your sources, and your community deserve protection. The Flare 26 Initiative will select 26 nonprofits to receive three full years of free access to Flare’s threat exposure management platform, covering real-time cyber intelligence and protection against fraud, data leaks, and brand threats. **Internet Society Foundation Common Good Cyber Fund 2026 **Global (priority: Global Majority) · Nonprofits · $100,000 to $300,000

Backed by a coalition of governments including Australia, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK, the Common Good Cyber Fund is awarding at least $3.5 million in two-year grants to nonprofits strengthening the public-interest cybersecurity ecosystem. Journalists, human rights defenders, civil society organisations, and independent media are explicitly named as priority communities. In 2026, the Fund gives additional priority to organisations based in the global majority and those addressing technology-facilitated gender-based violence.
