To many, Jamie Lee Curtis is Hollywood’s Scream Queen. Since I don’t watch slasher movies, I really don’t know about that. Actually, I saw her on NCIS, where she was very good. I also believe she had a workout video of note.

Jamie also comes from a high-profile family. Her father was Tony Curtis, and her mother was Janet Leigh. For someone who has enjoyed such a prolific career, I haven’t seen much of her work. Let’s take a look at some facts about Jamie Lee Curtis.

1: Jamie began her TV career in an episode of *Quincy, M.E.*

She played the challenging role of “girl in dressing room.” She would go on to play such roles as “woman in dressing room.”

2: She gained a reputation as a sex symbol for her work in ‘Perfect.’

Look for the sequel, “Still not Bad.”

3: Jaime Lee has been in seven “Halloween” movies.

Maybe she should consider another holiday.

4: Jamie starred in a number of horror movies early in her career which led Roger Ebert to say that Jamie, “is to the current horror film glut what Christopher Lee was to the last one — or Boris Karloff was in the 1930s.

I would not have thought to put her in that company.

5: She is friends with Sigourney Weaver, but has never seen her movie, ‘Alien,” because she is too scared by it.

But she could entertain others by screaming at it.

6: Jamie credits Dan Aykroyd as the best on screen kisser she’s ever worked with.

I knew Dan was talented, I just didn’t know that’s one of his talents.

7: Her legs are insured for $2 million.

So, if she loses one, does she get $1 million, or are they insured as a set?

8: In 1987, Married…. with Children’s Al Bundy paid tribute to her body by voting certain parts the best.

That’s quite the tribute. Al was an expert in that sort of thing.

9: She has been a spokesperson for Activia yogurt.

10: Her husband, Christopher Guest, inherited a barony and Jamie became The Right Hon. The Lady Haden-Guest of Saling in the County of Essex.

But I doubt she signs her checks that way.

11: She has a diaper patent.

That could come in handy when watching one of her scary movies.

12: She is a promoter of body positivity.

Sure, that’s easy for her. With a body like mine, it’ a little tougher to be positive about your bother.
