A 14-Year Account Silenced — After I Spoke the Wrong Truth

When “inauthentic behavior” becomes a catch-all excuse, no one is safe. Not even those who paid for the blue check.

I joined Twitter in June 2011.

Back then, it was still a chaotic, fascinating place — a platform where voices from around the world could collide, converse, and disagree. I grew with it. Over the years, I posted more than 42,000 tweets, built genuine communities, and shared thoughts that weren’t always popular, but always mine.

That account was @Qpigpig.

It stayed active for 14 years. Through wars, elections, purges, algorithm shifts, and regime changes. It survived even when my newer account — @OopsGuess, created in 2022 — was suspended earlier this year under the vague accusation of “ban evasion.”

That in itself was absurd. If I were evading a ban, wouldn’t my older account have been the first to go?

But now, the black box has spoken again.

@Qpigpig has been permanently suspended — for alleged “inauthentic behavior.”

No detailed reason. No evidence. No due process.

Just a templated email stating that my account has been reported, and that I “may not use [X’s] services to engage in inauthentic activity that undermines the integrity of X.”

Let’s be clear:

This is not about behavior.

This is about content.

About narratives.

About crossing invisible lines.

You Can Suspend the Account. But What About the Money?

Here’s where it gets worse.

I had an active X Premium subscription. I paid for a verified badge, and my billing cycle was supposed to run until October 16, 2025. That’s months of prepaid service — wiped out the moment they hit the suspend button.

They didn’t refund me.

They didn’t cancel the subscription.

They didn’t even acknowledge that they took my money and offered nothing in return.

This isn’t just silencing. It’s unjust enrichment.

It’s fraud.

If a platform takes your money, promises a service, and then unilaterally cuts you off without process or refund — that’s not just unethical. That’s illegal in many jurisdictions.

The Pattern Is Clear

First, they accused me of “ban evasion” with no technical basis.

Now, they accuse my oldest account of “inauthentic behavior” just weeks after I publicly challenged Elon Musk’s censorship hypocrisy.

They ignore appeal emails. Auto-reply to premium support tickets. And conveniently hide behind AI-generated enforcement with no human accountability.

What they want is simple:

Silence dissent.

Break your spirit.

Make it impossible for truth to survive their rules.

But here’s what they don’t get:

I’m not here for approval.

I’m not here to go viral.

I’m here because I believe words matter.

That telling the truth — even when it’s inconvenient — is still worth something.

If they think banning me ends this conversation, they’re wrong.

I’ll keep writing.

I’ll keep archiving.

I’ll keep showing the world what they’re doing — one post, one platform, one act of quiet resistance at a time.

And no, you don’t get to keep my money.
