Whether you took a break last season or have been grinding non-stop, a fresh start is always the most exciting time in an ARPG. ​As we count down the final hours, here is my quick plan of attack for launch day.

​This is the hardest part of every new season. What are you rolling on Day 1? ​With the massive balance changes coming in the Season 11 patch notes, the meta is completely up in the air. ​The Safe Bet: Are you sticking with a tried-and-true leveling build (like Minion Necro or Firewall Sorc) to blast through the campaign quickly? ​The Gambler: Or are you risking it all on that one new Unique item or buffed skill that might be OP this season? ​Personally, I’m eyeing the changes to the Barbarian. If the theory-crafters are right, Spin-to-Win might be back on the menu in a big way. ​2. Clear Your Schedule (and Your Stash) ​If you are playing on the Eternal Realm between seasons, do yourself a favor: log in now and clean up your stash. You don’t want to deal with inventory management when the new season drops. ​For seasonal players, make sure your real-life affairs are in order. Stock up on snacks, hydration, and tell your friends you might be MIA for the weekend. The grind to World Tier 4 begins Thursday. ​3. What We Are Most Excited For ​While Blizzard has kept some surprises close to the chest, the core mechanic of Season 11 looks promising. The focus seems to be on improving the mid-game progression hurdle that many of us hit around level 70. ​If the new seasonal powers can bridge the gap between entering endgame and optimizing BiS (Best in Slot) gear smoother, Season 11 could be one of the best yet. ​🏁 See You in Hell (Literally) ​The pre-season jitters are real.
