It is time to read the book again. . . The book reminds me of my mother and my sister, for both lived terrible lives, . . .

My mother escaped North Korea, so I could have a better life, but as our leaders destroy our freedoms and way of life, I am about to escape this hell hole, this third world country . . .

As the homeless rates increase and as inflation increases and as we pay so many of our slave workers so little. . . it is time to leave. . . .

The Colombian Drug Cartel made sure Trump became president and funded him. All Colombians know this.

Oh Colombia has been in a forever civil war and the Drug Cartel runs most of the country.

El Presidente Trump doesn’t send the Marines to bomb, invade or help Colombia.

Just as he doesn’t send troops to invade North Korea.

Oklahoma is the center of the Drug Cartel in America, for all drugs pass through here, and I never hear of a huge drug bust on this state.

The FBI was created in Oklahoma to do nothing but make sure the rich stay rich and the poor become poorer.

My Japanese American aunts and uncles were put in concentration camps during World War 2, for that is what they were called at the time.

My Japanese American uncle taught me about this and bought me books about it. He is the reason I started to read.

ENG 4883 / 5883 ASIAN AMERICAN LITERATURE

To appreciate and understand the contributions that Asian Americans have made to literature, which was created by their own unique voices.

Course Objectives:

As shown in their works, we will examine the perceptions Americans have towards individual Asian cultures and how that has affected the way immigrants were treated in America.

Furthermore, the richness of the cultural diversities of the groups will be examined, but it is the unified nature of Asian Americans that will be most examined.

Under all the classifications, names and stereotypes, Asian Americans are Americans in a land of many groups of people.
