It is Finished!

Conversations with GOD

Look upon the cross and listen to the words spoken in that hour: “It is finished.” Many have repeated these words, yet few have paused to understand what was completed.

When I spoke them, they were not the cry of defeat. They were the declaration of fulfillment.

The work given to Me by the Father had reached its appointed end. From the beginning I walked the path that had been prepared — teaching truth, healing the broken, calling the lost, revealing the heart of God to those who had forgotten Him. Yet all these were steps leading to the final offering.

Upon the cross, the obedience that began long before My birth into the world was brought to completion. Every word spoken, every act of mercy, every moment of resistance against temptation, every step toward Jerusalem — all of it was gathered into that final moment.

The burden of sin, which men could not remove by their own striving, was carried to its full measure. Humanity had wandered far from the Father, building walls of pride, fear, and rebellion. No human effort could break those barriers completely.

Therefore the Son came not to claim a throne among men, but to restore the way back to God.

When I said, “It is finished,” the sacrifice was complete. The offering had been given without reservation. Nothing remained withheld.

The price of redemption had been paid in full.

Yet understand this clearly: those words did not mean the end of My life’s purpose for you. Rather, they opened the beginning of a new path. The door that had long been closed by sin was opened through obedience and sacrifice.

From that moment forward, every soul would be able to approach the Father through repentance, faith, and transformation of heart.

But do not mistake the meaning.

“It is finished” does not remove your responsibility to walk in righteousness. It does not free you to return to darkness while claiming the gift of light. What was finished on the cross was the work of atonement — the bridge between humanity and God.

You must still choose to walk across that bridge.

Follow the truth you have been shown. Turn away from what corrupts your spirit. Live with sincerity, humility, and love toward others. In doing so you participate in the life that My sacrifice made possible.

The cross was not the end of hope but the foundation of it.

Therefore do not look upon those words with sorrow alone. Hear them as the proclamation of victory — the completion of the mission entrusted to Me by the Father.

The work was finished so that a new life could begin.

Come, then. Walk in the light that has been opened before you.
