Mother daughter dance workshop
Sunday 20th February 2022

No photos from the workshop I’m afraid. Too many beautiful girls and it was a safe space with no photography. Here is a photo of some animals grazing on my road.

Landmark hotel
Today we had a mother daughter dance workshop at the Uhuru centre in mbezi. It was so lovely to connect with the girls on a spiritual and emotional and goofy level. It was a safe space to love each other, stretch and make dance routines together and the bonus of a lovey chat afterwards and food included for 60,000 Tsh for my girls and I. Dada had part the weekend off so my boys looked after ds3 so we could have time unaided.

Grounding myself
We came home and dada was waiting for us outside the gate. Yay to a clean house!!

Busy Sunday
We went to SJ’s pool to cool down which was packed but lovely as usual. I bumped into my Spanish friend Marina. Do you remember the other day when the play slide fell apart with my girls on it? I spoke to the Manager and asked why he didn’t come over to check on dd2 who was screaming in pain when the slide broke with her in it. He apologised a few times but had no explanation other than to make a lame excuse about not having my contact details. My friend is living at the hotel…hmmmm…

Coconut, ball, sandal and nut sellers and an occasional horse roam up and down to offer their services. The level of hassle is zero compared to Northern Zanzibar.
