Why I Built a Digital Toolbox for TAB Technicians

Field automation should be useful, not expensive or annoying. So I built my own.

My name is Dyami Connell. I work in the field of testing, adjusting, and balancing HVAC systems.

Like most TAB techs, I got tired of software that looks good in an office but falls apart on a roof or in a mechanical room. Subscriptions, logins, and tools that assume perfect WiFi are not built for how this work actually gets done.

The real problem is friction. Every time you stop to grab a calculator, double-check a chart, or redo math, you lose time and introduce opportunities for mistakes.

So I built **TestAndBalance.xyz**.

It’s a lightweight, browser-based toolbox designed for real field use.

Fast. No login. Accurate. Standard traverse logic built in. Free. Built by a TAB tech, for TAB techs.
