“wasn’t a collection of nations. It was one civilization — united under a single language, Elu, and a single governance system based in Lanka Prime.”

Professor Samarasinha, the Sri Lankan delegate, nodded slowly.

“The Lankan Commonwealth. Oral traditions speak of it. The Yuga-Sandhi — the Age of Connection.”

Elara advanced the hologram. “But unity didn’t mean peace. The Commonwealth had internal factions:”

• The Atlantic Federation — Western provinces (later mythologized as Atlantis)
• The Pacific Coalition — Eastern territories (remembered as Mu)
• The Eurasian Dynasty — Northern alliances
• The African Sovereignty — Southern realms

“They fought,” Elara said.

“Not with primitive weapons, but with technology we’d consider advanced even today. Energy weapons. Genetic manipulation. Psychotronic warfare.”

She showed carvings of Lankan cities burning — not from human hands, but from other things:

Winged beings raining fire from skies. Shadow-creatures emerging from rifts in reality. Forest-spirit armies turning technology against its creators.

“And through the cracks of human conflict,” Elara whispered, “the Otherworlds invaded.”
