Astrology April 5 2023. Equanimity

I called tonight’s Libra Full Moon (podcast at

https://youtu.be/sErbx47qQdk) the ‘Free Your Mind’ Full Moon and the shifts are already happening with Liberals gaining control of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, a progressive Union Organizer winning the Mayorship of Chicago beating a very conservative candidate, and Trump being charged (huzzah).

Minds are changing and Lady Justice (I love the title of the art today Lady “Just Us”) is acting. Libra is represented by the scales of justice and all about finding balance, impartiality, balance, and mediation.

This Full Moon is carrying a LOT of weight on those scales, however, with lunar oppositions to a heavy Aries stellium of Sun, Chiron, Jupiter, and Eris and Vesta tomorrow.

It seems, however, that our need for emotional connection, security and nourishment is holding sway over the ‘might is right’ energy opposing it. Healer Chiron’s presence in Aries with the Sun and Moon both aspecting the shaman before the Full Moon is helping, as are the squares to problem solving, wise justice Goddess, Pallas Athena, in the Moon’s sign, Cancer.

Pallas Athena has been traveling over the USA’s Sun so much of the news is Stateside but, with Libra being alliances also, we have Finland joining NATO and possibly Sweden next. Conservatism is, however, gaining in Tennessee with House Republicans trying to remove Democrats for joining gun protests. European leaders are also heading to Beijing to ‘balance’ business ties with the hope to drive peace.

At a personal level, the energy feels more peaceful and balanced overall. our minds are opening up to possibilities and, with Eclipse season coming I predict we will have further balancing. My Solar Eclipse video is premiering tomorrow at 4pm Mountain — join me in the chat!

Our major late snowstorm is even ending this morning (we must have had almost 2 feet overall) and life feels as if it’s returning to a more pleasant temperate period. Does this mean that we are through with challenges? I don’t think so, no. But things definitely feel as if they are heading in the right direction. I’ll take it.
