VRChat: I Joined the Bikitan-san Avatar Meetup! (July 28, 2023)

I joined the Bikitan-san Avatar Meetup for July, so today I’m gonna share some of the photos I took!

What is the “Bikitan-san Avatar Meetup”?

It’s a meetup event for avatars created and sold by “Bikitan-san”! It’s planned and run by “Cement-san”!

It’s held every month at 10:00 PM (JST) on the last Friday of the month, and the event lasts for about an hour! I think it’s celebrating its 2nd anniversary around October or November?!

My Impressions from the Meetup!

Since it’s been so hot every day in July, there was a pool set up for us! 💧🛟🏖️

Everyone was cooling off in the pool in their swimsuits! 🎐🎐🎐

But seriously, I think this every time, but the quality of everyone’s customizations is just too high!!

Everyone is so cute~ And there are so many tiny avatars! There was even a palm-sized one~ ♪♫

They didn’t quite make it fully into the picture, but the design of the outfit worn by the light-blue-haired avatar in the front was amazing!

That light blue color is so beautiful~

The traditional Japanese outfits (wafuku) are really nice too, aren’t they? Oh, right! This time, besides swimsuits, there were some avatars wearing yukata, and they were adorable!

Upcoming Bon Odori Event

It looks like there’s going to be a Bon Odori (Bon dance) event in VRChat again this year on August 5th, and get this — they’re apparently opening 43 instances!!

What’s even crazier is that last year, they apparently ran out of instance space, which is just incredible! ✨✨✨
