I am one of those people who feel like they never get enough sleep😴

Sleep has always been a major issue for me; I have always been very sensitive.

I need my specific pillow—thin and soft—along with pin drop silence, pitch darkness, and a setting of my own choosing; otherwise, I simply cannot sleep.

So, I am grateful to my family—who took, and still take, great care to ensure my sleep isn't disturbed.

And the result of my not being able to sleep is terrible.

I get migraines, brain fog, and puffy eyes. Ugh..

I didn’t want to look ugly in the photos during the trip🤷

But obviously, circumstances cannot always be exactly as we wish.

So, guests from my in-laws' side started arriving on the 18th of last month, and for some reason, they all decided to travel at night—and arrive early in the morning.

Seriously?🤔🤔

I felt faint just hearing that—does it mean I won’t be able to sleep for so many days?🤔😭

And I was sure that after traveling all night, they would ruin my sleep in the morning and sleep through the entire day themselves—and that is exactly what happened😂

They just kept resting all day long, while I stayed awake.

In that case, I’ll have to go to bed early at night so I can stay fresh during the day.

I certainly gave it some thought, but naturally, it wasn't easy—especially with the younger generation of guests wanting to stay up late into the night and enjoy themselves.

To top it all off, the TripAdvisor service we had booked announced its arrival before 4:00 AM, even though we were supposed to leave at 5:00 AM.

So, does that mean I won't get enough sleep? Right?

We have air conditioning in two rooms at home, so all the adults have to sleep there.

The heat was intense, and now I, too, had to adjust to sharing a room with my sisters-in-laws.

One of our teenage nephews also found a spot on the mattress and was happy about it. But...

Our happiness came to an end when my sister-in-law’s loud snoring began to echo.

Oh, I pressed the pillow against my ears, but it was no use.

After a while, I sat up and saw that my nephew had also sat up; we looked at each other, nodded, and laughed—realizing it wasn’t going to happen🙅

We both came out into the lounge with our pillows, but there was noise and light in various places, so we ended up coming right back.

Perhaps Aapi( sis in law) had found out—or rather, she certainly had (since she mentioned, complained in a cheerful way, the next morning that she had been woken up by our coming and going🤐)—so that’s why I managed to fall asleep in the silence.

Fortunately, our rooms were separate on the trip, so there were no issues with sleeping🙂

Well, that was my heart-rending story, I’ll be back with the next story, If the guests gave me the opportunity to write🤐🫣
