Relationship: The Inside That Holds Us All

One piece of firewood was sketched from three different sides.
Although it is the same piece, what appears on each side is entirely different. Knots, cut branches, and the uneven surface of the wood create distinct expressions.
As I look, I begin to forget that they all come from a single trunk.
Yet every form that appears on each surface was once connected within that trunk. The tree, standing still, grew while receiving light from different directions.
Even after being cut and turned into firewood, that history remains on its surfaces.
In time, it will be burned, and its form will disappear. Still, the differences seen across these three sides belong to one continuous flow.
