ParaSpell Maintenance report — month 23

This article summarizes resolved maintenance tasks for the twenty-third month of the ParaSpell maintenance period. This month concludes another successful maintenance period.

What is ParaSpell

Quick sum up of what ParaSpell aims to achieve in Polkadot Paraverse:

• Unification of XCM
• Ease of integration of XCM
• Package less implementation of XCM
• 3 options to integrate XCM (XCM SDK, XCM API, XCM ROUTER)

ParaSpell repositories are currently divided into:

• XCM API (LightSpell): Meant to ease the integration of XCM interoperability into your dApp, offload your dApp from heavy computing and save you costs.
• XCM SDK: Meant to unify cross-chain experience on Polkadot and become a layer 2 protocol that allows for seamless integration of XCM into your dApps
• XCM ROUTER (SpellRouter): Meant to allow you to create XCM calls where you receive different assets than assets you send (Eg. Send -> DOT from Polkadot, receive ASTR on Astar) — all in just one call.
• XCM ANALYSER — Tool to convert XCM Multilocation to human-readable text
• XCM Visualizator — Tool to visualize XCM in the Polkadot ecosystem.
• XCM Playground: Playground for executing XCM tasks with XCP API, SDK, and ROUTER
• XCM Tools landing page (ParaSpell) Professional landing page
• API landing page: Professional landing page for XCM API
• DOCS: Contains extensive documentation for both mentioned tools, interesting links, and guides
