Power of Agile: MVP2

Already mentioned I started the development of a new game (PoA). After few sessions and with the collaboration my friend Michael (as tester), I have prepared a new MVP for PoA. Actually I think this is a different game given the number of changes.

Now we have 4 decks of 12 cards and the SWOT framework has been integrated. This change is so essential that I am going to change the name of the game to Agile SWOT.

In essential SWOT has been mapped as

  • Strengths (4×3 cards, was “Actions”) are now managed out of the decks with a logic of level skills (3) and investing Impact points in growth. So you have to balance growth and delivery value.
  • Weakness (3×4 cards, new deck reminding me “Waste”) if not enabled can provide negative points, reducing the effective capacity. Their enablement is related to the level of Strengths and not impact points
  • Opportunities (6×2 cards, was “Influencers) have been removed the concept of “Use” but only “Enable” is available now. Cards can be used in different ways: provide points or the described actions.
  • Thread (3×3 + 2 + 1, was Blockers) now may have a special Strength that can double impact points, showing a favourite way to solve each of them.

Reshuffle now costs 4 cards.
