Ian: Sure thing, my name is ian and I am the proud ceo of MyId let me give you my background here:

Ian: A little about myself — I have been involved in the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry for quite some time now. My journey began in 2013 when I was looking for an alternative to buying gold and stumbled upon Bitcoin. Though I didn’t fully understand it back then, I was captivated by its potential. In 2015, my interest in cryptocurrencies grew stronger as I started playing online poker, which required me to deposit Bitcoin. I noticed the rising value of Bitcoin over time, and this motivated me to dive deeper into the world of cryptocurrencies. My entrepreneurial spirit led me to create a business called Deep Six LLC, through which I began selling Bitcoin at a markup price on eBay, catering to a diverse clientele. Over the years, I have worked on marketing, consulting, and advising for various projects in the industry, taking advantage of the ICO boom and the rise of decentralized finance. Although my first attempt at launching my own project didn’t pan out due to market conditions in 2017, I remained persistent and continued to work with different projects in the space.

Today, as the CEO of MYID, I am dedicated to making a positive impact on the digital identity management space, leveraging my background and experience in the industry. I believe that our platform has the potential to transform the way people manage their online identities, ensuring security, privacy, and control. I look forward to sharing more about MYID and our plans for the future during this AMA.

Ian: Yes so to answer the first part of your question, about what we do and who we are

MYID is a decentralized identity management platform built on the etheruruem blockchainnetwork . Our project aims to empower users to take control of their digital identities, ensuring privacy, security, and seamless interactions across various online services. By leveraging blockchain’s immutable and transparent nature, MYID provides a secure and trustworthy solution for digital identity management.

At its core, MYID offers users a self-sovereign identity (SSI) system where they can store, manage, and share their personal information without relying on a centralized authority. This enables users to decide who has access to their data and under what circumstances, thus providing a higher level of privacy and control.

What’s the motivation for starting this project?

Ian: The motivation behind MYID is to address the growing need for secure, private, and user-centric identity management in the digital world. With the rapid advancement of technology, users are increasingly interacting with multiple platforms and services, making it difficult to manage their online identities. MYID aims to empower users by providing a unified and decentralized solution that enables them to control and manage their digital identities with ease.

Now on a more of a personal level, the motivation comes from all the scammers and figuring out a way to weed them out.

I mean how many of us get those telegram messages in a daily bases proposing some kind of scam

Web3 is decentralized and there are consequences to being decentralized unfortunately that often being scams. However, by making a decentralized identity system that can help make it a safer place while not losing individuals sense of privacy. It is a beautiful system we have created here I really believe it’s going to change the industry as a whole

Ian: our strategy to build a wider and inclusive investor community involves continuous engagement, education, and collaboration.

We prioritize hosting events, AMAs like this , and webinars to share our vision and provide updates on our project.

we actively engage with our community on social media and forums to gather feedback and answer questions. By fostering a strong community and involving them in our project’s development, we aim to create long-term value for both our investors and users.

We are very aware of how important a strong community is. We believe that our team is just as much apart of the community as the community itself. Having transparent and user-centric goals is what will drive our community. I personally have a lot of experience in building large communities and I have found that values and transparency is what drives communities even beyond the crypto industry

For instance, we can collaborate with DeFi platforms to enhance their user experience by providing identity scores for risk assessment and underwriting. Similarly, we can work with NFT marketplaces to verify user identities and ensure the authenticity of transactions. We believe that our services can create synergies and unlock new possibilities across the blockchain ecosystem.

We believe these partnerships will even go beyond the web3 space, essentially being the bridge between the web2 and 3 worlds

Son Heroic: Q4) Where can I buy your tokens right now? What is your current contract, and how can I buy them? Will you have any other DeFi features like staking, yield farm, or NFT in the future? Can you share a little about your roadmap?

Ian: our token has not yet been released. We are in the process of finalizing the details of our token sale, and we will be sharing more information about the token distribution and contract soon. It will be on the Ethereum network as we found that this is by the best network for project growth

You will be able to purchase on various Dex’s and possibly even Cex’s at the time of launch

These NFTs can be linked to an individual’s MYID identity, allowing users to prove their qualifications, skills, or other attributes without the need to share sensitive personal information.

Digital Art and Collectibles: Users can link their digital art, collectibles, or other creative works to their MYID identity using NFTs. This not only helps in establishing ownership but also creates an immutable record of provenance, which is essential for artists and collectors alike.

Access Control: NFTs can be used to grant or restrict access to specific services, platforms, or events by linking them to a user’s MYID identity. This allows service providers to verify the eligibility of users based on the NFTs associated with their digital identity, ensuring secure and seamless access to their offerings.

Reputation and Rewards: Users can earn NFTs by participating in various activities within the MYID ecosystem, such as contributing to the community, referring new users, or achieving specific milestones. These NFTs can serve as a visual representation of a user’s reputation or achievements within the platform, further enhancing their digital identity.

They offer unique opportunities for digital ownership, asset tokenization, and decentralized commerce. At MYID2022, our approach to the NFT sector involves integrating NFT capabilities into our platform and exploring ways to leverage identity aggregation and analysis for enhanced user experiences in NFT marketplaces. We see the value of nfts far greater than just being art. Public belief when the term NFT is mentioned automatically most people think of art. However the nft technology can be used for much much more which is what we are doing, and we believe there is more value that can be added to the nft market entirely but creating a unique use case for the technology itself.
