I Didn’t Expect AWS Cloud9 to Be This Easy

I recently spent some time in a LevelUp Tech lab working with AWS Cloud9, and it surprised me how simple and comfortable it was to get started.

Everything I needed was right there in the browser. No downloads, no setup issues, and no worrying about whether my laptop had the right tools. It felt like stepping into a fully ready workspace the moment I opened it.

One of the highlights was writing my first little test line of Python code in the Cloud9 editor. It was just print(“welcome to my world..Follow ThedailySecTea on tiktok”) but seeing it run inside the AWS environment felt like a real milestone. It made coding in the cloud feel easy and stress-free.

After that, I created an S3 bucket from the same Cloud9 environment, uploaded my file, and ran it again. Everything worked smoothly, and it showed how powerful Cloud9 is for learning, experimenting, and building without any setup headaches. This lab also reminded me why I started sharing my journey on TikTok through ThedailySecTea. I enjoy breaking security and cloud concepts down in a simple way that encourages others to explore these tools with confidence.
