⚓️BIBLE REFERENCE: Joshua 2:7-11 (AMP) [7] So the [king’s] men pursued them on the road to the Jordan as far as the fords [east of Jericho]; as soon as the pursuers had gone out after them, the gate [of the city] was shut.

[8] Now before the two men lay down [to sleep], Rahab came up to them on the roof,

[9] and she said to the men, “I know that the Lord has given you the land, and that the terror and dread of you has fallen on us, and that all the inhabitants of the land have melted [in despair] because of you.

[10] For we have heard how the Lord dried up the water of the Red Sea for you when you came out of Egypt, and what you did to the two kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan [on the east], to Sihon and Og, whom you utterly destroyed.

[11] When we heard it, our hearts melted [in despair], and a [fighting] spirit no longer remained in any man because of you; for the Lord your God, He is God in heaven above and on earth beneath.

🗓BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Genesis 40-42, Psalms 14, Proverbs 14.

💪🏿BIBLE IN 90 DAYS: Leviticus 26:27-46 - Numbers 8:1-14.

MESSAGE Ephesians 2:8-9; "For it is by grace [God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ] that you have been saved [actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life] through faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [not through your own effort], but it is the [undeserved, gracious] gift of God; not as a result of [your] works [nor your attempts to keep the Law], so that no one will [be able to] boast or take credit in any way [for his salvation]." Make no mistake, we praise Rahab because she displayed fruits of repentance, the Bible confirming her faith. Were this to happen in Jesus’s time, Rahab would have given her life to Jesus! Yes the Army consists of different kinds of people but they have one thing in common; faith!

Hebrews 11:6 explains that we cannot please The Lord without faith. The pleasant aroma Jesus expects to perceive from us as living sacrifices is the Faith aroma. Romans 10:9 goes on to explain the way faith for salvation works; by acknowledging and confessing with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believing in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead. We see Rahab already call Him, "Lord", not once, not twice! Of course, we didn’t pay anything to get saved, it was by Grace. However, James 2:18 says; "But someone may say, “You [claim to] have faith and I have [good] works; show me your [alleged] faith without the works [if you can], and I will show you my faith by my works [that is, by what I do]." The proof of our faith will be the works we do!

Romans 12:3 reveals that we are all given different measures of Faith, but we are expected to grow in grace (2 Peter 3:18). Romans 10:17 goes on to reveal that Faith comes by hearing and understanding The Word of God. Every Child of God is expected to desire the sincere milk of The Word in order to grow (1 Peter 2:2). The Lord dislikes those with stunted growth and uproots them after a while (Hebrews 5:12). He also warns against backsliding (Luke 9:62) as He Says in Hebrews 10:38; "But My righteous one [the one justified by faith] shall live by faith [respecting man’s relationship to God and trusting Him]; And if he draws back [shrinking in fear], My soul has no delight in him." Rahab followed through life, defying the king’s instructions, preserving the lifes of the two spies and of course, The Lord was pleased.

🎺CALL: Yes, everyone is welcome but, only those who measure up in obedience would be allowed to stay. In Jesus' parable as found in Matthew 22:1-14, after those from the highways were brought in, a man was found without wearing the wedding clothes. He was immediately thrown out, into what can only be described as hell. Then Jesus made a profound statement; "For many are called (invited, summoned), but few are chosen" (Matthew 22:14). It's not just by calling Him "Lord" by mouth but by works of continuous obedience as He Himself Said in Matthew 7:21; "Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven."

This excuse of being a "child" so The Lord will pamper you is a lie from the pit of hell! A closer look at Galatians 4:8 and we see that we were children; slaves, as unbelievers! Galatians 4:5 reveals that we were adopted as Sons not children! Yes, 1 Peter 2:2 describes new converts as babies but a baby is still a son of his father! Willfully sinning against The Lord under the guise of being a "child", claiming special mercy is a facade - dirty lie from the pit of hell! We become new creatures instantly at salvation, with a new nature, a new Governor Whom we are expected to obey at all times; The Holy Spirit. This is why Romans 8 clearly reveals that as many as are allowing themselves to be led by The Laws of The Spirit of The Lord are Sons of God, without any condemnation! Of course, The Lord provides Mercy for those who stumble, that is why He is allowing you see this message today. Even if you had been willingly committing sins, hearing this message is His Mercy extended to you. Repent fully today and step into your Victorious State as a Son of The Lord!

🫵🏿BRIDGE: I desired to share Hebrews 11 with you to intensify your understanding of Faith but, The Holy Spirit has impressed 2 Peter 2 on my heart afresh. Please read to the end; "But [in those days] false prophets arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will subtly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction on themselves. Many will follow their shameful ways, and because of them the way of truth will be maligned. And in their greed they will exploit you with false arguments and twisted doctrine. Their sentence [of condemnation which God has decreed] from a time long ago is not idle [but is still in force], and their destruction and deepening misery is not asleep [but is on its way]. For if God did not [even] spare angels that sinned, but threw them into hell and sent them to pits of gloom to be kept [there] for judgment; and if He did not spare the ancient world, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, with seven others, when He brought [the judgment of] a flood upon the world of the ungodly; and if He condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to destruction by reducing them to ashes, having made them an example to those who would live ungodly lives thereafter; and if He rescued righteous Lot, who was tormented by the immoral conduct of unprincipled and ungodly men (for that just man, while living among them, felt his righteous soul tormented day after day by what he saw and heard of their lawless acts), then [in light of the fact that all this is true, be sure that] the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trial, and how to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment, and especially those who indulge in the corrupt passions of the sin nature, and despise authority. Presumptuous and reckless, self-willed and arrogant [creatures, despising the majesty of the Lord], they do not tremble when they revile angelic majesties, whereas even angels who are superior in might and power do not bring a reviling (defaming) accusation against them before the Lord. But these [false teachers], like unreasoning animals, [mere] creatures of instinct, born to be captured and destroyed, reviling things they do not understand, will also perish in their own corruption [in their destroying they will be destroyed], suffering wrong [destined for punishment] as the wages of doing wrong. They count it a delight to revel in the daytime [living luxuriously]. They are stains and blemishes [on mankind], reveling in their deceptions even as they feast with you. They have eyes full of adultery, constantly looking for sin, enticing and luring away unstable souls. Having hearts trained in greed, [they are] children of a curse. Abandoning the straight road [that is, the right way to live], they have gone astray; they have followed the way of [the false teacher] Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the reward of wickedness; but he was rebuked for his own transgression: a mute donkey spoke with a man’s voice and restrained the prophet’s madness. These [false teachers] are springs without water and mists driven by a tempest, for whom is reserved the gloom of black darkness. For uttering arrogant words of vanity [pompous words disguised to sound scholarly or profound, but meaning nothing and containing no spiritual truth], they beguile and lure using lustful desires, by sensuality, those who barely escape from the ones who live in error. They promise them liberty, when they themselves are the slaves of depravity—for by whatever anyone is defeated and overcome, to that [person, thing, philosophy, or concept] he is continually enslaved. For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world by [personal] knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and are overcome, their last condition has become worse for them than the first. For it would have been better for them not to have [personally] known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to have turned back from the holy commandment [verbally] handed on to them. The thing spoken of in the true proverb has happened to them, “The dog returns to his own vomit,” and, “A sow is washed only to wallow [again] in the mire.” " (2 Peter 2:1-22).

🔥PRAYER POINT: My Father, I Thank You for sending Your Word to me today. Lord, please increase my Faith! Increase my Love, hunger and passion for You! Help me by Your Holy Spirit to please You all the days of my life in Jesus Name!
