However for the truth-absent fascist, the lie is equal to the truth. Therefore, if atrocity is completed quickly and with no witnesses, they can tell themselves they are moral and no one can question them.

The stealth of corpses, with civilians and journalists, aid workers and even escaping hostages are all charnel to the lie of pure morality. The true horrors of what Israel has done are so beyond the pale, it is easier for the layman observer to believe occam’s razor favors the innocence.
