As a McNeese State University graduate who grew up in this region, I have seen firsthand how energy development sustains families and local businesses, and how quickly labor markets tighten when industrial growth outpaces training capacity. That dynamic is avoidable if institutions and employers act early. At GTI Energy, we see workforce as infrastructure. When talent pipelines lag capital investment, regions risk losing long-term economic value, as projects rely more heavily on external labor and fewer benefits reach local communities. The LNG certificate program launching in fall 2026 will:
