As part of our social contribution activities, we at National Corporate Database made a donation to the Japan Children’s Home Foundation and the Nationwide Children’s Home Comprehensive Donation Site. Through this donation, we aim to support the various challenges faced by children after leaving the facility and help brighten their future.

Current situation of children who have left children’s homes

Many children leave foster care at the age of 18 and begin living independently. However, they face harsh social realities and often lack support. Financial issues such as keeping a job, paying rent, and taking out consumer loans are a constant. Unlike living in a facility, the reality is that there is almost no support after leaving the facility.

Voices from staff at child care facilities

Staff at the site continue to receive concerns and consultations from children who have left the facility. We receive many inquiries such as I quit my job,’’I can’t pay my rent,’’ and ``I borrowed money from a consumer loan.’’ Continuous support is necessary to provide children with an environment where they can live safely in society and pursue their dreams.

Purpose of donation and expected effects

This donation is intended to help us understand the current situation of children and provide them with the support they need. We, the National Corporate Database, will continue to support the activities of the National Child Care Facility Comprehensive Donation Site and help children lead a stable life.
