The Constitution, Article I, Section 8, Clause 11:

The Congress shall have Power . . .

To declare War, grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal, and make Rules concerning Captures on Land and Water;

To raise and support Armies, but no Appropriation of Money to that Use shall be for a longer Term than two Years

• The United States Congress has not declared war on Iran.
• The United States Congress has not appropriated any funding for a war on Iran.
• The United States has not been attacked by Iran.
• A majority of the American people are opposed to the United States declaring war on Iran.
• Without Congressional approval Donald Trump has unilaterally ordered the U.S. military to attack Iran
• The members of the former Republican Party have done nothing whatsoever to stop the funding for or the prosecution of this undeclared war

On Sunday, April 5, 2026 United States President Donald Trump told ABC News Senior political correspondent Rachel Scott that if no peace deal is reached with Iran in the next 48 hours:

“We’re blowing up the entire country.”

“It should be days, not weeks,” Trump said, adding that Iran “has been decimated, decimated. And every day is going to get worse.”

“Every day they’re gonna have to build more bridges, and they’re gonna have to build more power plants and more everything else,” the president said. “There’s been no country that’s ever taken a pounding like that.”

“If it happens, it happens. And if it doesn’t, we’re blowing up the whole country. We’re blowing up, as I said, it’s going to be bridge day and it’s going to be power plant day in the country of Iran.”

In an April 5th on-line post President Of The United States Donald Trump said:

“Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran,” and adding,** “Open the F*in’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell — JUST WATCH!”

The President of the United States. The person you voted for. The person you chose to be the face and voice of the American people.

Good job.

This undeclared, unapproved and unprovoked war will destroy the lives of millions of innocent civilians who not only have done nothing to the United States but who actually oppose the Iranian government.

The members of Congress who have traded their former membership in the Republican Party for positions in the Trump Party have the power to strip funding for this undeclared war that will kill, maim, and wound tens of thousands of innocent people.

They have the power to stop this slaughter.

But they will do nothing because their complete absence of integrity combined with their lust for power and craven desire to hold onto their miserable jobs stays their hands.

If you ever needed more proof that the Republican Party has been replaced by the Trump Party this is it.

History Repeats Itself

In March, 1939 the German army attacked Czechoslovakia.

In March 2026 American war planes dropped thousands of tons of high explosives on Iran.

If you’ve ever wondered how the citizens of Germany felt in March 1939 when their tanks rolled into Czechoslovakia, now you know.

As Germany was in the 20th Century, the United States and Russia are the 21st Century versions of naked aggression in support of unbridled arrogance and self interest.
