How founder started Paws Pal Connect — Building the PetOS

It was 11:47 PM.

My dog, Tipu, was whimpering in the corner. Something was wrong — I could feel it. But I had no idea what.

I opened one app to find a vet. It didn’t have his records. I opened another app where I’d booked his last grooming. Different login, different profile. I dug through a drawer looking for his vaccination booklet — the paper one. Somewhere.

Four apps. Three drawers. Zero answers.

That night, I sat next to Tipu on the floor — a 20-year tech veteran who had built enterprise platforms for billion-dollar companies — completely helpless because no one had connected the dots for my dog.

The next morning, I made a decision that changed everything.

I walked into my office and resigned.

My colleagues thought I’d lost my mind. Maybe I had. But I kept thinking — if I can build digital infrastructure for Fortune 100 companies at scale, why is my dog’s healthcare still running on paper and WhatsApp forwards?

So I stopped asking why. And started building the answer.
