Create a Photo of You and Your Younger Self With ChatGPT

A simple method for combining past and present

Start with two images. A plain background works best. The tool can remove backgrounds, but it works more cleanly when the background is simple.

Upload both images to the chat window. Then write a prompt like this:

The author at about 58 and the author’s younger self at about 6 years old, hugging. By TandA.

Take the image of the woman (camera right) kneeling down and hugging the image of the girl (camera left) who is about 6.

If the order of the images is different, adjust the description so it matches.

Once you have an image with the background removed, you can change the setting. Keep the pose the same and describe a new location.

For example:

Take this pose and place it outside in front of a house and front door.

You only need to define the pose and the setting. The rest follows from the prompt.

It’s lots of fun and it really isn’t that hard!! Try it out!
