Rapture as a SPG

A cautionary tale of messages from a God.

Some number of Christians got the same message recently that the rapture was coming. That makes it a Shared Personal Gnosis (SPG). And that makes it easier to believe. Really believe.

There is a logic to it happening on the Feast of Trumpets. There is a logic to it happening sometime after Israel became a nation again. Things like that support jumping on the bandwagon.

The fact that there is written passages that support the message makes it VPG if not close to VPG. VPG is Verified Personal Gnosis. It is the highest criteria we have for verifying a message is from Divinity.

So the Christians and any others who believed, were believing in something with the highest levels of credibility.

I do not blame those who believed. And I feel sorry for those who prepared too much. I wish I could talk with such folks. Like I wish we could sit down, lay aside our prejudices and really talk.

Such things can and have happened to anyone. Christians, Pagans, probably followers of all major faiths have had UPGs/SPGs and perphaps even VPGs that have gone wrong.

When it comes to messages from our Gods, we all have to have discernment. Whether you are Christian, Pagan, the Pope, a life long devotee, who ever and what ever. Whether it is a rapture revelation or anything else, We have to take it with a grain of salt. A lot of salt.

How many people throughout time have gotten a special message that they were chosen to tell the world? And how many times has that panned out?

We need to really understand that our mind, our monkey mind, can mishear, misinterpret and otherwise mess up ANYTHING. That whole groups, communities even nations can get it wrong.

We all struggle with what our God, Goddess, Ancestors, Scripture tell us to do. There are Buddhist that struggle with what the Buddha said. There are Muslims that struggle with what the Quran ran says. There are Christians that struggle with what the Bible says. And their are pagans that struggle with what their God or Goddess said.

Instead of seeing the Other as the enemy of our God. I wish we could see that this common struggle with what a divinity has said IS A COMMON STRUGGLE. It is something we all have in common.

I wish through this Feast of Trumpets 2025, Christians could realize they have things in common with Pagans and others. Instead of hunting us down and killing us or worse. I wish we could see that humanity has always struggled to relate to Divinity. That we are all human. We all wish for a divine connection. Something more than ourselves. To be a part of something larger than ourselves. That is baked into the human psyche.

We all have separate minds. We have separate backgrounds. We have separate experiences. And we feel lead in different paths.

There are commonalities. We all want that connection. We all have experiences. We all have faith and beliefs based on our own experiences. We all call out when we need help. We all seek guidance. And we all have had experiences where that help and guidance works and experiences where it does not. That seems to be part of the human condition.

With those facts in mind, should any of us believe we have the One-True-Way?

No, None of us should feel so confident that our way is right, that we force and coerce others to convert to our way. None of us should feel so confident that our way is the One-True-Way that we take over the government and outlaw every other way.

That could be the real lesson of Feast of Trumpets 2025, if we could accept it.
